Post subject:  Perlin Noise

Perlin noise to generate terrain, the algorithm need optimizing and the terrain rendering is just a skeleton right now (just triangle strips)

note: takes a second or two to generate the terrain

(algorithm i wrote a while ago, the inspiration to fix it came at 3am)

looks good... just wondering how many triangles are being rendered?
now all we outta do is wait for dan to add an opengl section so we can move our stuffz there...

that mesh has about 32000 triangles but could easily be scaled to have less or more detail

are you doing a

or similar.

Cause its at a constant 100% cpu.

no im dont have a loop like that
maybe the rendering is causing the 100% cpu
i dunno...
