Turing 4.1.1a dropped support for Error.Trip which, consequently, made the Lexer class stop working.

Config.Lang (clRelease) still returns 405 so there is no way to differentiate between 4.0.5 and 4.1.1a. If this did work properly, programmers could use conditional compilation (#if) to know when to use Error.Trip or not.

Turing 4.1, the previous version, improved the Pic module's speed and features. I also think the Sprite module was improved.

Holtsoft is out of business. We think. Until someone contacts t hem to get distribution rights, you can't legally get it.

Is there any other good turing IDEs?

No, Turing was made solely, by Holtsoft. OpenT was going to be the 2nd. But, I think that's dead now to. I could be wrong?

There's a mirror of Turing 4.1.1a on the compsci blog as well. Check it out here for anyone who needs it:

(Click the hyperlinked words "Turing 4-1-1a.zip" in blue right below the title for a direct download link to the zipped file.)

Note: Credits + thanks to Tony for the mirror.

Only downside to turing 4.1.1 is that you can't generate stand alone programs... Mad

That's strange, why would they remove a feature?

I don't think they removed it, correct me if I'm wrong but i think there was a bug in the update preventing you from making a stand alone program
