Hey everyone, I haven't posted in a while, but I figured you guys would get a kick out of my latest creation. Sources included, it's all under GPL. If you wanna compile it yourself (and you're on windows), change the main.cc #define POSIX to #define WINDOWS and you're set. This is basically a decentralized chat program, with a file sending capability. Both Linux and Windows versions are available as of now (Mac support hopefully coming, if someone would be so kind as to compile it) The Linux version however is still being packaged (it'll be available statically linked or as a .deb file). It's only limitations are that it doesn't work across the internet, and it doesn't work well across routers. So, in school it normally works fine. The language this is written in is C++, though I would have chose C if I could have. It uses the wxWidgets framework for pretty much everything. This is version 1.0rc, so if you guys find any glitches let me know. |
