In case any of you don't know, and don't want to go searching, to use syntax highlighting when posting code, use the [syntax] tag, with the language of choice in quotes [i]entirely in lowercase[/i] ie for Turing:

[synatx="turing"]

for Ruby:

[syntax="ruby"]

for C++ :

[syntax="cpp"]

etc...

just remember to close off the syntax block with the [/syntax] tag.

How can you show bbcode syntax in your post?

Author:  Clayton [ Mon Jan 08, 2007 4:11 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Testing - test out bbcodes and posting here.

just click on the "Disable BBCode" option underneath the text box where you enter your post.

It's a tag; it fills in the current users name... very disconcerting. The animated things are just annoying...

I wish this quick reply box were a little wider however...

Spearmonkey: it say that im a foolish mortal.

md just pointed out that the text is dynamic. It fills in the current username. For example, i see BenLi is a mortal fool

I would lower the resolution but the text ends up looking like shit. If you've ever hooked up your computer to an old TV, that is what it looks like.

Juss lookn at the emocotion thinger

One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going
to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an
old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said, "Disneyland burned down."
He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty
good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was
getting pretty late.
