As you can see, I've recently gotten stuck with Winders. Trying my best to unixify it, but it's just not the same

I, too, am stuck on Windows. I lasted one month before I started changing the appearance a lot. I've downloaded the Royale theme (thanks wtd & niko) and installed Google Desktop. I must admit, Google Desktop has some nice gadgets. I just don't like the whole searching your computer thing. Fortunately I can prevent it from indexing my computer and completely hide the search bar from my desktop. Enough talk. |

@Silent Avenger; it seems a little busy... personally I prefer calm desktops that look nice but aren't overly complex. Usually I only ever see small bits of my desktop anyways. |

Yeah it does seem a little busy but I only ever see the thing when I turn on my computer and turn it off. I think I might change it since I have about another 262 backgrounds lying around on my computer so if anyone wants to see more desktops just ask. |

My desktop always changes. I use Webshots Desktop. www.webshots.com You can download lots of backgrounds, and then it changes your background every hour(or any interval that you choose). |

desktop != background and now that I have unconfused myself there is definitely a september thread about this for both physical and virtual desktops. |
