those messages you get sent by "messenger" that are porn, and other stuff, they also send ones that say buy this for 100 dollars to get rid of it? right?well i know how to get rid of them. they're sent by ppl using this services that comes with windows xp (home or pro) so: go to control panel> administrative tools>services scroll down to this one thats called MESSENGER. double click on it and click on the drop down box for startup type and choose disabled. then click on the button that says stop service. mind you this does not have anything to do with MSN messenger, its usually used to send messages to office employees and other things like that. with this disabled you wont get any more popups |

i know it has nothing to with msn messenger.... this is how it works over a network... go in dos mode and type net send ipaddress message (type your own ip address instead of ipaddress ) you can get your own ip address by going into dos mode and typing ipconfig |
