If you mean the 10 kinds of people joke, it's actually been around much longer than that. I wouldn't be surprised if it's older than you. But that can't count for much... I mean, what are you, 9? 10 years old, now? Confused

Suggestion for v3: if people want to use more than one emoticon in a post, they must pay something like 25 bits (may vary depending on how the new bit economy works out) for each additional emoticon. 100 bits each for multiple animated emoticons.

We're still in discussions about this one. I'm thinking that ridiculously spammed ASCII emoticons means a run through the gauntlet. EDIT: ( Wink )

How about if more than 50% of the words have capitals after the first letter, or if more than 80% or the words begin with a capital?

OCT = octal = base 8 math.

In base 8, "31" represents the same quantity as "25" does in decimal.

Two strings walk into a bar and sit down. The bartender says, "So what'll it be?"
The first string says, "I'll have a rum and cojdk^CjfdLk jk3s d#f67howe%^U r89nvy~~owmc63^Dz x.xvcu"
"Please excuse my friend," the second string says, "He's not null-terminated."

Or the ever famous "Is Windows a Virus"
No, Windows is not a virus. Here's what viruses do:

They replicate quickly. (Okay, Windows does that)

Viruses use up valuable system resources, slowing down the system as they do so. (Okay, Windows does that)

Viruses will, from time to time, trash your hard disk. (Okay, Windows does that, too)

Viruses are usually carried, unknown to the user, along with valuable programs and systems. (Sigh... Windows does that, too)

Viruses will occasionally make the user suspect their system is too slow and the user will buy new hardware. (Yup, that's with Windows, too)

Until now it seems, Windows is a virus but there are fundamental differences: Viruses are well supported by their authors, are running on most systems, their program code is fast, compact and efficient and they tend to become more sophisticated as they mature.

So, Windows is not a virus!
