well i spent about 1 hour building the model this is a 50% render becaus 100% is quite large.. Flower in vase it took about 5 mins to render with yafray suggestions are welcome ![]() |

I kinda like the look of the flower. Seems like it's made of metal, so I'd try tweaking it's material to be a bit more shiny, and perhaps reflective. When'd ya start using Blender?? |

I think that a non-metalic flower would be less shiny/reflective. In fact, the light should be much more diffused. |

its el comandante!!! grr.. its even in my signature... i started using blender about month ago imt rying to make the flower more realistic...i added some fading between light pink and a beige for the petals... i forgot to add some tangent shading on the thorns though..... i need to work a bit more on the glass .... the wood is a bitmap i got of the internet i couldnt manage to get a god effect with blender that suited my needs ![]() |
