[...] Yesterday I went to the Microsoft’s GameCamp 06, a session on programming Xbox360 games with XNA, and I’ve promissed to write about it for those unable to attend. This is it, read on. “This one time at game camp…” (from the free t-shirt) [...]

Heh, I am already learning C# and it seems neat. Have XNA installed. Similar syntax to Java. Forces will be on the 360 by the summer, I can guarantee that.

Rather interesting. It says that <i>"the event is organized by Microsoft employees who are alumni of the participating schools"</i>. There are plenty of UW grads at Microsoft (supposedly more than from any other particular University), so I'll see what can be done.

I might also stop by College Puzzle Challenge later on in the day, if that would be applicable.

I guess they are trying to kill two birds with one stone. I would be very interested in participating in this event but microsoft is also holding the college puzzle challenge on the same day from 12pm to 12am (http://www.collegepuzzlechallenge.com/Default.aspx). I am surprised Waterloo doesn't participate as UofT, MIT, Stanford and others are participating.

I guess I'll attend the first couple of hours and then get back to UofT as I am the team capitan and have to speak to the coordinators to get my team started.

Tony, maybe next year you can get microsoft to host the even at Waterloo too. It's really quite fun. Last year the gave away an xbox 360 before it was released.

P.S. If anyone wants to go with me let me know (compsci.ca PM)
